Biography

Prof. Sherif Abdelwahab graduated from college of medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt 1992, and then he spent internship in Clinical Oncology in Ain Shams University hospitals (1994-1996). In 2002, he got the doctorate degree and was assigned as a Lecturer of Clinical Oncology. In 2004, he was awarded a scholarship and had the chance to have a fellowship in Clinical Radiobiology in Academic Medical Center, University of Amsterdam. In 2005, he was involved in a training program as a visiting doctor in radiation therapy department in Peter Mac Callum cancer center, Melbourne, Australia. In 2008, he was assigned as an A/Professor of clinical oncology, Ain Shams University, till May 2013. Since May 2013, he was assigned as a Professor of Clinical Oncology, Ain Shams University. He is the principal investigator for a project in collaboration with IAEA. He has many National and International publications in Oncology. He is a Reviewer in 2 International Oncology journals (AJCO & Clinical Colorectal Cancer).
