Dr. Perez-Rivera MD-PhD began his career as a Cardiology fellow at University Hospital of Salamanca (Spain) from 2009 to 2014. During this period of time, he completed his clinical training with a National Observership at the Unit of Cardiac Imaging in University Hospital of La Paz in Madrid (Spain) in 2012 and International Observership at Congenital and Structural Cardiac Disease Unit in Lenox Hill Hospital in New York (USA) in 2014. After that, he was admitted as a Cardiology consultant at University Hospital of Burgos (Spain) in 2014 and he is still working there with focusing on Clinical Cardiology and Heart Failure. In this sense, he achieved the Personal certification on Heart Failure by European Society of Cardiology in June 2017 and is member of the Heart Failure Section from Spanish Society of Cardiology. Finally, he develops a significant teaching activity as Assistant Professor at Health Science Faculty of the Universidad Isabel I (Spain) since 2015.
Dr. Perez-Rivera research interests are Heart failure,Coronary artery disease,Ageing and Geriatric Cardiology,Bio markers and bench science related to cell ageing.
