Dr Igor B. Koncar Graduated at Medical Faculty University of Belgrade (2002), and since then work at the Clinic for vascular and endovascular surgery of the Serbian Clinical Center, Belgrade. Also, works as assistant at the Belgrade Medical School, University of Belgrade. Finished Master thesis „Early and long term results of carotid graft replacement“, PhD thesis „Biomechanical and Biochemical Basis of AAA Rupture“ on Medical School of Belgrade University. Fellowship at University hospital of Barcelona (Prof Dr V. Riambau) and Pisa (prof Ferrari). INTERNATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY: More than 90 Pubmed publications; Advisor to the Board and Chair of vascular scientific committee of the ESCVES; Member of the Guideline committee of the ESVS; Editorial board member and reviewer of the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (EJVES);Collaborator of the ACST-2 study and INOVATE-HF(FDA study). Investigator in BIOLEAK and PRINCLIPLES study; Collaborate in national projects: III41028 (INGEMA_S), III41007; AWARDS: Serbian Medical Society: The best medical article about “Usage of Recombinant factor VIIa in non hemophiliacs”. European Society for Cardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery (ESCVS) - Young vascular surgeon prize for Scientific and Clinical success in 2011.
