Dr. Fahad Saleem graduated with a pharmacy degree from University of Baluchistan (UOB) in 2001. Following his pharmacy pre-registration training, he undertook his Master’s studies in the field of Business Administration at Iqra University, Quetta, Baluchistan and graduated in 2006. Furthermore, he completed his MPhil in the field of Pharmacology from UOB in 2007. Upon completion of his Master’s degree, he had been appointed as Lecturer, Department of Pharmacy, University of Baluchistan, Pakistan. Dr. Fahad Salem was successfully awarded with a PhD degree in 2013 from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. As an avid researcher and writer, Dr. Fahad Saleem has published more than 200 full research journal articles in international peer reviewed journals, co-authored 5 books and had presented in more than 100 international conferences worldwide. He is actively involved in many international organization such as International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISOP), International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE), International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), Health Action International-Asia Pacific (HAI-AP), Action on Antibiotic Resistant (ReAct) and International Network for Rational Use of Drugs (INRUD). At present, Dr. Fahad Saleem holds the chair for Pharmacy Practice at University of Balochistan, Quetta, Pakistan.
Dr. Fahad Saleem is interested in evidence-based practice and patient reported outcome studies. He is also involved in Pharmacoeconomics in health care and in engaged in designing effective therapeutic models in developing countries.
