Katarzyna Płoneczka-Janeczko graduated Veterinary Medicine of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences in 1999. She obtained her Dr. med. vet. in small animal infectious diseases in 2004. Since 2004 she works as Assistant Professor at the Department of Epizootiology with Clinic for Birds and Exotic Animals, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Poland. Since 2006 - Specialist in Epizootiology and Veterinary Administration (Specialization no. 17, National Commission for Specialization of Veterinary Surgeons). In 2016, she obtained habilitation in the field of epizootiology, infectious diseases of animals, following her thesis entitled “Research on feline conjunctival microflora in the context of diagnosing chronic conjunctivitis”.
