Biography

Dr. Satı Dogan is a faculty member of the Department of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing of the Faculty of Nursing of University of Ege, Turkey (from 2001-continues). She has worked in a variety of hospital based health services in the Turkey (from 1987 to 2001). These are; general surgery nursing, hand and micro surgery nursing, children's services specialist, premature nursing, neonatal nursing, emergency and trauma nursing, chief nursing, education of nursing, psychiatric clinical nursing. She has been variety of membership of institutions and associations (psychiatric nurses’ association member, founder member of brittle bone patients association, president of Ege University nursing graduates association). She continues to as an editorial board member and a reviewer both nationally and internationally journals.


Research Interest

Master's Thesis: Ward Atmosphere Scale (WAS) validity and reliability (Turkish version). PhD Thesis: The effect of adaptation theory-based therapeutic approach on adolescents anger management. Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, Child and Adolescent Mental health, psychometric instrument and scales, consultation liaison psychiatry, therapeutic communication, risky behaviors among youth, theory based research.
