Dr. Pablo Hernández-Alonso is a researcher and teacher belonging to the Human Nutrition Unit in the Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona, Spain). He granted his Biotechnology degree in Polytechnic University of Valencia (Valencia, Spain) in 2011 and his Master in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Genetics in Universitat de Valčncia (Valencia, Spain) in 2012. In 2016 he obtained his doctorate in Nutrition and Metabolism in Rovira i Virgili University under the supervision of Dr. Mňnica Bulló and Prof. Jordi Salas-Salvadó. He has a wide expertise in molecular and cellular laboratory techniques related to both human and animal samples. He has also a wide expertise in bioinformatics and biostatistics, together with a background in nutritional epidemiology. He has worked both in national and international projects (EPIRDEM, PREDIMED, SATIN).
