Biography: Bio: Lokendra Bengani did his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, India. He completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Florida under Dr. Anuj Chauhan on the topic of “Fundamentals & Applications of Macromolecular Transport in Hydrogel Contact Lenses”. He joined Dr. Brij Moudgil as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Particulate & Surfactant Systems (CPaSS) (University of Florida) which is a NSF Industry University Collaborative Research Center (IUCRC) where he worked on natural biocide formulations for plant bacterial diseases. He is currently a Postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Joseph Ciolino at the Schepens Eye Research Institute at Massachusetts Eye & Ear (Harvard Medical School Affiliate) working in the field of ocular drug delivery from contact lenses.
