Dr. Martin Perez-Santos has completed PhD at Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico, in 2001. He then worked as patent examiner in the area of vaccines and cancer in the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property. In 2011, he joined to Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla. He published several cancer research articles and his research work is focused on the study of breast metastasis processes involving miRNAs and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. He is also editorial board member of International Journal of Cancer Biology and Clinical Oncology, Journal of Cancer Research Forecast, Cancer Prevention Current Research Journal, and Austin Biology, and serves as reviewer of Journal of Cancer Science & Therapy, Epidemiology Open Access, Tumor Biology, and Current Gene Therapy.
