Dr. Bazanova is a leading researcher of the Department of Department of Experimental & Clinical Neuroscience, Lab. of Affective, Cognitive & Translational Neuroscience, Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Scientific Research Institute of Physiology & Basic Medicine” and of the Faculty of Novosibirsk State University Novosibirsk, Russia,. She undertook her PhD in the Cardilogical Centre of USSR, Moscow, Russia and her Doctor of Science degree in the Institute of Physiology and Basic Medicine, Novosibirsk. Dr. Bazanova has trained students and post university psychologists for EEG, postural control and Neurofeedback training. She lectures alpha EEG analysis and personalized Neurofeedback training for occupational therapy students. Her clinical work was developed in the mental and physical health field (musicians, sportsmen, children and adulthood) and affective disorders.
Dr. Bazanova is interested in evidence-based practice and systematic review. She has developed primary research to the EEG individual alpha activity indices, their endophenotype role in neurophysiology and in the neurofeedback for occupational and affective disorders. Her second keen is the research of the sensorimotor integration role in mental and affective disorders. She also provides leading research of postural control and neuroscience in the health care.
