Biography

Dr. Singh received his Ph.D. in Health Outcomes and Pharmacy Practice, from the University of Texas at Austin. He also has a Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration and a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Dr. Singh has published several articles in health economics and outcomes research and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. His primary area of expertise is health services research, outcomes research, patient reported outcomes development, health economics research in ADHD, schizophrenia, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and inflammatory conditions. Dr. Singh was awarded the Johnson and Johnson fellowship and has received several awards for his work as a graduate student. Dr. Rakesh Singh is currently employed at AbbVie Inc. and in his current role as the Manager of the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Rheumatology, supports Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis indications. Prior to joining AbbVie, Dr. Singh was part of the Global Patient Outcomes and Real World Evidence group at Eli Lilly and Company supporting the gastroenterology portfolio. In his role as a Research Scientist at Lilly, he provided clinical trial development support and worked on developing patient-reported outcomes instruments.
