EC Endocrinology and Metabolic Research (ECEMR) is an internationally peer reviewed journal that desires to publish articles on all aspects of Endocrinology and Metabolism, diagnosis, management and prevention of Endocrine and Metabolic disorders. The journal aims to publish clinical and experimental work on all the topics related to Endocrinology and Metabolism. Aim and scope

Metabolism refers to the chemical reactions that take place inside the cells of living organisms which are essential for life. The main function of endocrine glands is to secrete hormones directly into the bloodstream. Hormones are chemical substances that affect the activity of another part of the body (target site). In essence, hormones serve as messengers, controlling and coordinating activities throughout the body. Endocrinology and Metabolic Research include receptors and mechanism of action of hormones, methodological advances in the detection and measurement of hormones; structure and chemical properties of hormones. Research on Endocrinology and Metabolism is very essential as Endocrinal disorders have become one of the huge problems that are being faced due to hormonal imbalance. Today, both clinical and basic research on Endocrine and Metabolism has become most essential. Scientific research is also taking place to look for causes and possible treatment in Endocrine and Metabolic disorders. Advancements in the field of Endocrinology and Metabolic Research play a major role in building a safe and healthy society.
